Project Description
In search of the flow and the rhythm of movement, people from all over the world gathered for the 10th edition of the Transalp Waterline Tour at Lake Caumasee, Flims in Switzerland. This event has so much to offer; the crystal clear lake, the quiet serene atmosphere, a beautiful hike to arrive there, and the warm and welcoming community of Swiss Slackline. We wanted to make a film that encapsulates all of this into one film that people would remember.
Process
Kfir Smiley Amir, the videographer, has a way of capturing the essence of an event with such ease and style. We interviewed Isidro during the event and used his descriptive commentary to form the foundation of the story, which is about how it feels to attend this event, the process that it takes to learn each new line and how it connects us all together as a community.
Outcomes
This film has won 3 awards in film festivals, and has inspired many people to attend the event. Swiss Slackline continues to use this video for promotion for sponsors and social media every year.
